Q1. Which do you prioritize more in your decision-making: Following your heart or using your brain?

Cate: For me it would be a combination of both brain & heart, as both are equally important. Depending on the decision you need to make depends on which one you give more attention to.

Q2. Name one skill that you think everyone should learn.

Cate: How to communicate correctly… my close second would be how to manage your finances.

Q3. What is something that truly scares you?

Cate: The regret of a life not lived to it’s fullest.

Q4. Define yourself in five words.

Cate: Authentic, Compassionate, Honest, Disciplined, Sincere.

Q5. How do you stay focused?

Cate: When I am working, I use the Pomodoro technique and I time block my tasks, as well as keeping my focuses for the day to no more than five, ideally only three so that I can give them all my full attention. If need be I also use the Eisenhower Matrix to assist me in working through what is Urgent/Important and what is not.

Q6. What is your worst habit?

Cate: I have a terrible habit of procrastinating – which I have gotten significantly better at managing, however I am a work in progress so I can always get better.

Q7. What is the most expensive thing you own?

Cate: My beautiful home which I own with my husband.

Q8. Name two person who inspires you, one celebrity and one non-celebrity.

Celebrity: CrossFit athlete Danielle Brandon (for what she has overcome in her life)

Non-Celebrity: My husband ( for all that he is and all that he has achieved)

Q10. Do you have any good sleep hacks that you use?

Cate: Ensure that your bedroom is cool and as dark as possible.

Q11. Arrange these in order of your priorities – Money, Love, Fame, Peace, respect?

Cate: Love> Respect >Peace>Money> Fame. This one was tricky… but if you have love and respect money will follow 😉

Q12. What do you think is more worthy of pursuit than wealth?

Cate: Following your purpose and being of service. Wealth will come if you do this.

Cate: Through open and honest communication as well as mutual respect with a good amount of compromise. And by being kind with your words no matter what.

Q14. What gives you peace in your career as well as in your relationship?

Cate: Knowing that I am in doing what I am mean to be doing, that I am following a path of making an impact in others’ lives which in turn makes the world a better place. And in my relationship – knowing that no matter what myself and my husband are a team. I know that I have his full support and he has mine.

Q15. What is your biggest realization in life so far?

Cate: That what you put in is what you get out. No one is coming to do the work for you – you need to do it yourself.

Q16. If you were given another chance, would you still choose to be born a human?

Cate: Yes, so that I could continue to make an impact.
